Everyone wants their turn in the Limelight, This is Mine.
Good for you! I agree with you on the 'opt in' but when they get into high school not in elementary school. It should be an elective course.
Well, seeing as how my ancient computer won't accept/handle u-tube type video thingies, I guess I'll never know "the rest of the story", or most of the middle either. :(((Mata neLiz
You come across great!I can't believe they have that CRE in Victorian schools! Never heard of it in WA. I wonder who managed to push that through. My parents are both teachers so they would have told me if this was going on in WA schools.I was thinking the other night about the whole god-religion thing and I thought to myself that I suppose I wouldn't outright tell my future kids that I don't think god exists, so that they wouldn't be too influenced, but then I thought hang on a sec! Of course I'm going to tell them what I think. If they want to believe in god then they can go for it, but I'm certainly going to let them know that I think religion actively tries to brainwash people into believing there is a god. If there really was a god, why would we need to be told about it, why wouldn't we just know it in ourselves without the weekly church sessions?
