And so it dawns...

Victorie. As in Victory. As in Victor. Not Frenchie sounding VicTwar, but Victor-E.

Really Ron, How could you have allowed such a thing?

Never mind. My last comment looked really WRONG when I saw it in print. Totally not what I meant.

Ya know, I stumbled on the name every time I read it. Still don't get it.
Maybe an inside joke for Rowling?

Well, I guess I don't have to read HPDH now.

Just kidding .... I had no plans to read it anyway.
I'm really not a fan.

LOL why did I click? WHY?!

Kidding. My kid has been dropping spoilers all over the place. She said "I just have to share this with SOMEONE!"

*rofl* I got it. It was the spelling of Victor that threw me off.

Why the hell didn't she just call her Viktoria?

You know what I think confused me though? I probably missed the bit about her being Ron's and Hermione's. I think I assumed 'Oh, Victoire, it's Bill and Fleur's. She would want a French name!'

Must read epilogue again.

Okay I'm done. I really didn't like the 19 years later bit. I felt like she had stolen something from me with that.

(spoiler for epilogue)

You sure?

I took it that Victoire was Bill & Fleur's too. (And thus pronounced the French way...)

Apart from anything else, Ted's now nineteen - so you've got to assume that Victoire, is what, at least seventeen?
Can't imagine Hermione pregnant at nineteen. (Apart from anything else, she's still got to get her NEWTS.)
