We've been having some family days out while Sassy and the hubs are on vacation. These are from our visit to the R.R.S. Discovery, the ship that Robert F. Scott took to Antarctica for scientific exploration and got stuck there for the whole polar winter. It was really neat and the kids enjoyed it immensely.

Sassy, as always, is up for having her picture taken, but the wee one has decided to go for a simian standard smile. She makes this face every time we tell her to smile. I blame her father - he laughed at her the first time she did it and now she thinks it's great. Daddy still laughs when she does it, reinforcing the chimp-face, and wee are not very amused in Mommy-land. She does smile properly if we ask her to say cheese.

We've also been to the science museum, art museum and taken a few drives along the coast. Just having fun. I know it's HNT, and I should include a partially nude pic, but I'm in a rush...maybe next week.

You guys are having WAY more fun than I am. I need to hang with you.

I also did that thing when I was little where I'd make serial killer faces every time I got my picture taken. Unfortunately, my mother didn't put much effort into forcing a normal smile out of me, so now pretty much all I have in the way of childhood photos are a bunch that make me look like I'm seconds from slaying a family of four. It'd be nice to have a couple of cute ones, too.
