I'm all wet and cold now...

It's snowing. It's been snowing since 8:45 this morning. It's not accumulating, but gathering about two inches of slush. I don't have a shovel...it's never snowed enough to warrant one, but I wish I had one now. I tried to use the stiff bristled broom to sweep the slush out of the driveways but that was just comedy.

There's a salt-grit drop up the road a ways, and I'll have to run out there sometime with a bucket to get enough grit for our patch of drive and sidewalk.

It's not snowed in November for the past 10 years, so this is all very interesting.

Good news though, we can get Bagdad Cafe free in the newspaper tomorrow.

I was perplexed as to which comment to leave so I'll leave both, and let you decide which was better.

Comment one:

Wow, you're working your butt off..Don't slip. Be careful.

Comment two:

True....Also, my Uncle's hairy butt has not reefed a good one in almost 10 years...It's a sign, if only I knew what it means.

I liked that movie. It'll make you sad if it's snowing cuz they're in the desert and all. I hope the slushy doesn't freeze solid, that's the worst to walk on and then you fall and it's all bad. Winter is here. Damn.

I don't get the comments. Does that make me dumb?

I was just thinking about the whole global warming thing and yet we're having January temps in November here. Now you with the snow.

It's the end of the world. Clearly. This weather is insane. It was 17 degrees here on Thurs, and tomorrow it will be 61.

In Michigan!

Sweet. You get snow? Lucky.

If the snow came this year in November I'd have a conniption fit. I despise snow. I loved the idea of it until I actually had to live in it.

When I was in Scotland they talked about how cold the winters were. HAH!! I'm from WISCONSIN!

Have fun with your snow! Throw a few sluch balls for me!

You poor sneezy thing!

Global warming is a simplified term that people misinterpret. A better term that scientists use is "Global Climate Change" which is a more accurate description because it appears to be getting hotter AND colder.

So stock up on air conditioners AND shovels and save the brooms for massive dust storms and locust plagues that are probably coming next. :-)

Tornwordo:It is more appropriate to speak of "climate change" as opposed to simple "global warming" which is generally true but specifically anomolous.

Lyvie:Here in Detroit we've been frickin' cold for several weeks. Snowed several times. We usually don't get the white stuff until later in December, but whatever.
